The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting.
Job Description
Duties
  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize time and fuel efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems for efficient travel.
