$26–$29 per hour

Job Summary

We’re looking for a safety-focused Equipment Delivery Driver to transport construction equipment to and from customer job sites and company locations across multiple states. This DOT-regulated role involves extensive daily regional travel, with rare overnight trips, and requires strong attention to safety, compliance, and customer service. Drivers may also provide basic onsite training to customers on the safe operation of equipment.


What You’ll Do

  • Operate CDL Class A vehicles including flatbed, step-deck, and lowboy trailers
  • Transport construction equipment such as skid steers, trenchers, and directional drills
  • Load, secure, and unload equipment in compliance with FMCSA regulations
  • Complete DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate HOS logs using ELD systems
  • Deliver to active job sites while following OSHA and site safety requirements
  • Complete delivery and pickup paperwork and obtain customer signatures
  • Provide basic customer training on safe equipment operation as needed

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Class A CDL (interstate) with tanker endorsement
  • Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
  • 2+ years of heavy or construction equipment hauling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safe driving practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to assist with equipment loading or operate a forklift
