Job description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Driver Helper in Bangor, ME. This role is a seasonal temporary contract with lots of overtime available.


Pay: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 6:30am until route completion


Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for assisting the Driver in the safe, on-time delivery and sales of ice and related products including the merchandising of individual bags and full pallets.
• Accountable for applying safe work practices in all deliveries and operational practices.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to our client's customers.
• Reviews paperwork daily for neatness and accuracy.
• Ensures cleanliness of delivery vehicle (interior and exterior).


Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Required
• 1 years' experience working in a distribution environment considered an asset
• 1 years' experience working in a similar role considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Must be able to safely enter/exit the cab and tail of the delivery vehicle repeatedly.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Superior customer service skills
• Will be required to work weekends, and holidays in order to meet the needs of the business.
