Job description

Furniture & Appliance Delivery Driver / Helper – Costco Routes

We are looking for reliable, hardworking Delivery Drivers and Helpers to join our team servicing Costco delivery routes. The position involves delivering and installing furniture and household appliances directly to customers’ homes while providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture and appliances to customers’ homes.
  • Work as part of a two-person delivery team when required.
  • Deliver items such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, mattresses, furniture, and other large household products.
  • Assist with moving heavy and oversized items safely through homes and into the correct location.
  • Perform basic appliance installation and connections when qualified and trained.
  • Protect customers’ floors, walls, doors, and property during deliveries.
  • Follow all delivery instructions and company safety procedures.
  • Inspect products before and after delivery and report any damage or issues.
  • Take required photos and complete job documentation through the company’s delivery application.
  • Provide professional and respectful customer service at every delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery truck.
  • Follow daily routes and communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or problems.

Driver Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Clean and responsible driving record.
  • Previous delivery, moving, furniture, appliance, or installation experience preferred.
  • Ability to drive and safely operate a delivery vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances and furniture.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Reliable transportation to the work location.
  • Must be dependable and able to work scheduled delivery days.

Helper Requirements
