Delivery Assurance Coordinator - Commercial Assets
Salary: 55k-60k
Aftermarket Operations has an opening for a Delivery Assurance Coordinator to support Purchasing and Inventory operations focused on vendor Work-in-Progress (WIP), repair order tracking, and material movement activities for commercial aerospace assets. This role works closely with vendors, repair facilities, logistics providers, and internal teams to support timely delivery, accurate system updates, and visibility of critical material movement.
Role Responsibilities
The Delivery Assurance Coordinator supports vendor management, shipment tracking, and delivery assurance activities, including:
  • Coordinating shipment tracking activities between vendors, repair facilities, carriers, and internal stakeholders to support timely material movement and delivery.
  • Monitoring repair orders, vendor WIP, and delivery schedules within SAP and internal reporting systems to ensure accurate status visibility.
  • Investigating and resolving shipment discrepancies, delays, mis-shipments, and logistics issues impacting material availability.
  • Supporting inbound and outbound logistics activities, including tracking critical parts and coordinating customs-related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate transactional and reporting data related to repair orders, airway bills, and shipment status.
  • Communicating status updates on open and critical material requirements to Purchasing and operational stakeholders.
  • Expediting urgent material requirements and supporting rapid issue resolution to minimize operational impact.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, delivery assurance, or related operational support environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume transactional work accurately.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, operations-focused environments with quick turnaround expectations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience supporting aerospace, repair operations, vendor management, or material operations environments.
  • Familiarity with repair order tracking, vendor WIP management, and logistics coordination processes.
