Position Summary
Seeking a reliable and organized Service Parts Delivery Driver to support our HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical operations. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Essential Functions
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for pick up and delivery of material between supply houses, the shop and job sites ensuring accuracy and timely service.
• Responsibilities also include assisting with warehouse organization, receiving and distributing parts, maintaining cleanliness of the shop, and supporting daily operations. Pick parts from shelves, pack boxes, and load trucks efficiently to fulfill delivery orders and maintain timely shipments.
Other Responsibilities
• Identify and promptly correct any unsafe conditions in the work area; report uncorrectable issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties may include working in the other areas of the company to provide support during absences, staff shortages in other trades or to perform duties associated with light construction projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record with the ability to drive a company truck or van.
  • Previous delivery driver/part runner and/or warehouse or material handling experience is a plus.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory handling.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally.
