Job Description:
The Product Delivery Associate is a detail-oriented, self-driven operator responsible for executing critical delivery readiness activities that ensure complex products are complete, accurately configured, and ready for customer acceptance and shipment. Serving as the final operational quality gate between Production and the customer, this role validates hardware, documentation, and product configurations while identifying and resolving issues that could impact delivery quality or the customer experience.
Working under general direction, the Product Delivery Associate independently executes delivery readiness activities across multiple customer programs in a dynamic manufacturing environment with limited standardized work instructions. Success in this role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to assess ambiguous situations, identify discrepancies, distinguish between intentional configuration differences and true defects, and resolve routine issues with minimal day-to-day oversight.
This individual partners closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing Planning (SIOP), Flight Operations, Logistics, and Product Delivery leadership to resolve delivery issues, maintain configuration integrity, and support successful customer deliveries. They are expected to quickly learn multiple product configurations, engineering releases, and customer requirements while maintaining organization, traceability, and delivery readiness across numerous concurrent programs.
The Product Delivery Associate supports Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and customer acceptance events by ensuring products, inventories, and customer-facing documentation are complete and accurate. As experience grows, the role assumes ownership of increasingly complex delivery workstreams while contributing to process improvements and standardization efforts across the Product Delivery organization.
Required qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, product delivery, quality, maintenance, inventory management, or another complex hardware-focused operational environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and make sound decisions with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, recognize patterns, and maintain a high level of accuracy across hardware, documentation, and product configurations
  • Proven problem-solving skills and sound judgment when working through ambiguous situations with limited guidance
  • Ability to quickly learn complex products, engineering releases, and customer-specific configurations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing work across multiple active customer programs while maintaining product traceability and configuration integrity
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and drive work to completion
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation, inventory records, bills of material (BOMs), build documentation, or similar operational records
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Demonstrated accountability, professionalism, and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to frequently lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally move heavier items with appropriate equipment or assistance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience supporting customer deliveries, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer acceptance events, or final product inspections
  • Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving product or delivery discrepancies in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with engineering changes, product configurations, revision control, or build documentation
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, robotics, automotive, or another complex hardware manufacturing environment
  • Experience collaborating across Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing Planning (SIOP), or similar organizations to resolve issues and improve operational processes
  • Experience identifying recurring issues and contributing to process improvement initiatives
  • Military experience in logistics, maintenance, aviation, quality assurance, production, supply, or other operational specialties

$68,000 - $100,000 a year
