This position reports directly to the Grand Rapids Slumberland Manager, who is excited to find the next addition to our team! About Slumberland:At Slumberland, our mission is to improve the lives of our customers. We take pride in providing your family with living room and dining room furniture and home decor, as well as mattresses and bedroom furniture, intended to create a home filled with comfort and love.The Role of the Warehouse/Delivery Associate:As a Warehouse/Delivery associate you would assist with deliveries to customer locations and safe operations of the delivery truck, to include daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage. You would move materials from the receiving areas to other designated areas, including the showroom, ensuring proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety. In this position you would also assist with building and grounds maintenance. You are an important member of the team as we put our best foot forward through the display of our showroom, our warehouse, and offering exceptional customer service on deliveries!Qualifications for a Successful Warehouse/Delivery Associate:Valid and insurable driver's license is required for driving.
