SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to support our warehouse and delivery operations. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering large home appliances to customer locations, assisting with warehouse activities, and helping maintain an organized and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will work well independently and as part of a team, demonstrate strong customer service, and prioritize safety, accuracy, and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.
OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS:
  • Deliver large home appliances to customer locations, homes, and store locations in a safe and timely manner
  • Load, unload, move, and secure appliances, materials, and products safely and accurately
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, stocking, and organizing incoming inventory in appropriate warehouse locations
  • Process, prepare, package, ship, and load orders accurately
  • Inspect appliances before and after delivery to verify cleanliness, condition, and proper operation
  • Provide customers with basic operational guidance on delivered appliances, as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
  • Accurately apply labels and markings to identify materials, products, and customer orders
  • Read delivery schedules, work orders, order forms, and requisitions to complete daily assignments
  • Utilize company technology platforms to document work performed and obtain required customer signatures
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation in company systems
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, delivery vehicles, and machinery as assigned
  • Maintain a professional appearance and deliver a high level of customer service during all interactions
  • Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
  • Experience in warehouse operations, appliance delivery, delivery driving, or material handling preferred
  • Experience driving delivery trucks and towing utility or equipment trailers preferred
  • Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, lifting, tie-down, and transport practices
  • Ability to safely handle large, heavy, or awkward items such as home appliances
  • Ability to work individually or with a team and complete daily tasks as directed
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to operate safely in customer locations, traffic, and confined spaces
  • Knowledge of local roadways and ability to follow maps and routing directions efficiently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to explain basic appliance operation clearly and effectively to customers
  • Working knowledge of handheld technology such as smartphones, tablets, or laptops
  • Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. or more frequently, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions such as weather, traffic, and delivery demands
