Job Description

Title:               Delivery and Stocking Associate

General Summary:

Inventories, maintains, and creates replenishment orders for assigned material bins at CAP account sites.  Provides on-site support as needed.  Delivers product to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drives to customer sites; delivers and stocks order per account specifications.  Plans route and independently schedules work flow.  Keeps on-site bins clean and uncluttered.
  • Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions product weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products.  Typically bends stoops and/or crouches on a regular basis from various heights to stock or deliver product to a customer.
  • Assists in all other areas of operations as needed.
  • Respects various safety standards at all customer facilities
  • Operates forklift:  proper training and certification required.  May also use material handling equipment (including pallet jack, dollies, handcart and conveyor). 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Warehouse experience including knowledge of daily warehouse operations, inventory turns, material handling equipment assembly and bin building.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products (including Word and Excel) and Trend
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to independently obtain objectives and be self-directed.
  • Valid driver’s license for Region of business operation with a good driving record.

                Reports to:                            CAP (Customer Alliance Program) Manager

                Direct Reports:                    None     

Working Conditions:                        Varied: Normal office, warehouse and/or factory environment.
