our community is our top priority. Our Delivery Associates play a vital role by bringing outstanding customer service directly to our customers' homes. Every

delivery is an opportunity to represent K&B Ace Hardware with professionalism, care, and a helpful attitude.

If you enjoy being active, working independently, and interacting with customers, this could be the perfect role for you. Previous hardware or

delivery experience is a plus, but it's not required. We provide extensive training and are committed to helping you develop new skills and grow your

career.

Salary Range

$17-$19 an hour

What You'll Do

  • Safely deliver merchandise to customers' homes and businesses.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service with every delivery.
  • Load, unload, and transport merchandise safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained delivery vehicle, including routine inspections and basic upkeep.
  • Answer customer questions and communicate feedback to the store team.
  • Assist with store operations, stocking, and customer service when not making deliveries.

What We're Looking For

  • Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused.
  • Safe driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry 40-pound bags throughout the day and occasionally lift items weighing up to 60 pounds. Many deliveries involve carrying merchandise up or down stairs or into basements and other customer locations.

Why Join K&B Ace Hardware?

We value work-life balance by posting schedules three weeks in advance and working with you whenever possible. We offer flexible full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (12–30 hours/week) schedules, merit-based bonus opportunities, employee discounts, paid sick leave, and a Simple IRA with company matching. Full-time associates are also eligible for tuition reimbursement, paid holidays and vacation, and health and dental insurance contributions. At K&B Ace Hardware, you'll do more than make deliveries—you'll build relationships, strengthen your community, and become part of a team that truly cares.

K&B Ace Hardware is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug-free workplace.

We are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community. Ace Hardware has over 5,000 stores around the world with the majority of those stores independently owned and operated by local entrepreneurs. These hard working men and women are part of the fabric of your community. They are small business owners who are local and loyal...just like it ought to be. While others have become large and impersonal, at Ace, we've remained small and very personal. That's why we say a visit to Ace, is like a visit to your neighbor.
