Retail Delivery Driver - Full Time

Type of Work: Full-Time
Shift Availability: Open availability, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Hourly Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.
Location: 191 US Highway 130, Bordentown, NJ 08505

About the Role:

As a Delivery Driver at Curaleaf, you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers. You'll be the friendly face that delivers cannabis products safely and efficiently to customers' homes, ensuring every interaction is professional, timely, and compliant with state regulations. Your mission is to provide clear communication, courteous service, and reliable delivery that customers can count on.

When you're not on the road, you'll bring that same energy into the store - greeting guests, processing transactions, and helping maintain a clean, organized retail environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do:

  • Customer Experience & Teamwork
    • Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint—whether in-store or at the customer's door.
    • Communicate professionally and proactively during deliveries, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
    • Build trust and rapport by answering questions and offering helpful product information.
    • Greet and assist all guests warmly, providing personalized product recommendations.
    • Resolve concerns with professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Promote loyalty programs and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere with your team.
  • Delivery & Compliance
    • Safely transport cannabis products in compliance with company policies and all state regulations.
    • Plan and execute efficient delivery routes for timely, accurate service.
    • Adhere to all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
    • Accurately handle cash payments and complete required delivery documentation.
    • Maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning delivery vehicles, including logs and inspection records.
    • Proactively communicate delivery status, delays, or issues to customers, the Store Manager, and internal teams.
  • Store Operations
    • Assist with store operations: opening/closing, ID checks, POS transactions, and inventory tasks like restocking and fulfilling online orders.
    • Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked.
    • Support store operations as a Store Associate when not on delivery, based on business needs.
  • Sales & Performance
    • Consistently meet or exceed daily sales goals through upselling and product knowledge.
    • Highlight promotions and complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Stay informed on product updates and promotions for a seamless customer experience.
    • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Per state compliance guidelines, you must be at least 25 years old.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role.
  • Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to thrive independently and as part of a team in a compliance-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a calm, solution-oriented approach.

Even Better If You Have:

  • Previous experience in a regulated retail environment.
  • Familiarity with cannabis products and industry regulations.
