About the Role:

We’re looking for reliable and motivated Walker Delivery Associates to join our team! You’ll be responsible for delivering packages safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position.

Job Description:

Capital Shipping is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages with a smile to customers doors. Walker Delivery Associate shifts range between 8-10 hours per dayand shifts are available 7 days per week. You can plan on working about 4 days a week. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely load, unload, and deliver packages by walking to customer addresses within a ten-block radius in all weather conditions.
  • Deliver packages (Weighing up to 50 lbs) to customers on time and with care.
  • Follow all company safety policies and traffic lawsthroughout all delivery stages from package pickup, transport, and delivery.
  • Operate an electronic device/mobile phone for GPS and daily records of deliveries using apps.
  • Contact the customers, when necessary, in order todeliver their packages in a safe location and follow their direction.
  • Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day.

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required; training is provided!
