Job Description
LIGHTYEAR LOGISTICS LLC is currently searching for future Delivery Associates to join our team and provide quality Last Mile delivery service to our local community. Here at LGYL we understand what it takes to be successful as a delivery associate and work hard to provide a safe and compassionate atmosphere for our delivery associates.
We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!
Lightyear Logistics will provide competitive compensation, benefits, and growth. We have opportunity for Full-time, Part-time, and some additional options as well.

Delivery Associate Basic Requirements:
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license (no CDL required)
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to successfully pass a 4-panel drug screening.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
  • Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
  • Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
  • Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
  • Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
  • Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
  • Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
  • Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Benefits & Delivery Driver Shifts:
  • Start at 3-4 days(1- weekend day Availability Required)
  • Shifts range between 8-10 hours a day and are available 7 days a week.
  • A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30 minute meal break
  • Weekly Pay, potential weekly bonuses
