Job description

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver Associate who is focused on customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Delivery Driver Associate will pick up and drop off items according to assigned routes and time schedules. Be willing to work as part of the delivery team to ensure the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

The Delivery Driver Associate must be committed to providing our clients with an excellent experience. Ensure orders are properly fulfilled, committed to workplace safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.

Responsibilities

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses safely and on time.
  • Pick, stack, and sort products for sale to retailer/wholesale customers
  • Check items against pull tickets and invoices for accuracy before loading
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
  • Load products into a truck in an organized safe/secure manner efficient/effective delivery
  • Deliver and unload products for sale at retail/wholesale locations
  • Checking delivered products against invoice with the customer before leaving the premise
  • Secure payments and money handling in a safe and secure manner
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
  • Maintain all paperwork and communicate any inaccuracies with the manager
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Check and maintain a delivery vehicle for safety and organize your route for delivery
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Build/Maintain relationships with internal and external customers
