*Non-CDL position
The Auto Parts Store Delivery Driver will primarily determine the priority of deliveries, receive and review delivery orders for completeness and maintain a clean driving record while adhering to company policy. Deliveries will primarily focus on automotive replacement parts and may include the delivery of heavy-duty parts, automotive and industrial paint, and body shop supplies and equipment from our Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts retail store locations. Today, Replacement Parts, Inc. and Crow Burlingame is made up of a corporate staff and several different companies, including Parts Warehouse Inc. (PWI). We employ more than 1,400 employees, in twelve (12) states, working at approximately 220 locations, all operating in the aftermarket automotive parts, paint and heavy-duty parts business. In 2019, our company celebrated 100 years of serving our communities as a privately held business with most of our employees spending the majority of their working lives as part of the "Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts" family.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Provide exceptional customer service. This includes but is not limited to assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle.
  • Determine the priority of deliveries including the most timely and efficient route, when not directed by a manager or counterperson.
  • Receive and process orders and other documents by reviewing for completeness and clarity before delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and well running delivery vehicle by performing routine maintenance and inspections.
  • Ability to safely drive a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Help answer telephone and wait on customers.
  • Work store inventory/assist in other location's inventory, if assigned.
  • Maintain a clean facility inside and outside. This includes but is not limited to sweep, mop, pick up trash, straighten and dust shelves, rearrange stock, etc.
  • Adhere to scheduled work time unless authorized by a manager.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED. Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge including web browsing and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
