Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Safely navigate walking paths, businesses and residences to complete daily routes efficiently
  • Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques
  • Follow designated routes using mobile devices for navigation, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Handle heavy lifting safely during package loading/unloading processes, practicing proper manual handling techniques
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required by company policies
    Qualifications

    Experience

    • Previous experience in delivery driving or courier roles preferred, especially with warehouse operations or commercial driving backgrounds
    • Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks), and heavy lifting practices
    • Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and safe lifting practices in the workplace
    • Experience with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery updates is advantageous
    • Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and reliability
    • Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly while maintaining safe lifting practices
