Tollefson's Retail Group proudly operates furniture and flooring stores throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana. Our Slumberland Furniture location in Thief River Falls, MN is looking for dependable, hardworking Part-Time or Full-Time Warehouse & Delivery Associates to help deliver quality products-and exceptional experiences-to our customers.
What You'll Do
As a Warehouse & Delivery Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their furniture safely and on time while helping keep our warehouse and showroom running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering furniture to customers' homes with professionalism and care
  • Safely operating company delivery vehicles, including completing daily vehicle inspections and tracking mileage and fluid levels
  • Loading, unloading, receiving, and organizing merchandise in the warehouse
  • Moving products throughout the warehouse and showroom using proper lifting techniques and powered equipment
  • Assisting with showroom setup and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment
  • Helping with basic building and grounds maintenance as needed
  • Providing friendly, respectful customer service during every delivery

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record - This position requires driving our store truck
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card for operating company delivery trucks
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move 75+ pounds
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Previous warehouse, delivery, or material handling experience is helpful, but we're happy to train motivated individuals
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay for the position is $16 per hour. In addition to the hourly pay rate, part-time employees also recieve Paid-Time Off, Employee Purchase Discounts, and mayreach eligiblity for our 401K after meeting the hours worked requirement and waiting period. Full-Time employees enjoy those benefits as well as options for Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and more.
We also strive to provide flexible scheduling whenever possible. While some weekends and peak holiday periods are required, we work to create schedules that support both our business and our employees.
