What is a deli department associate?

Deli Department Associates are retail employees who work in the deli section of grocery stores or supermarkets. Their main responsibilities include preparing, slicing, and serving deli meats and cheeses, as well as assisting customers with their orders. They also maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area, ensure food safety standards are met, and help with inventory management.
