Job description

Holiday Market is an award-winning family-owned gourmet grocery store located in Royal Oak. We specialize in fresh meat and produce, custom made to order cakes, expertly made prepared foods and pizzas, and above all, excellent customer service. We are looking to add to our Deli, Seafood, DuJour, and Meat counter staff. Come join a great team with great customers!

Duties of the Counter Associate include:

· Provide great customer service

· Serve customers in conjunction with Holiday Market standards

· Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs

· Must be able to push/pull cart with a load up to 100lbs

· Maintain food dates (FIFO) and food rotations

· Keep area clean and sanitized and follow company sanitation guidelines

· Follow safe food handling procedures

· Operate and clean meat grinder and slicer

· Housekeeping duties including washing dishes

· Must be 18 years of age and available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
