Location: Apizza Alimentari, Fayetteville, New York

Job Type: Full-Time | Reports To: Management

Position Summary: The Deli Worker prepares sandwiches, salads, and other deli items while also assisting guests at the deli counter. This role combines food preparation with customer service responsibilities, ensuring quality food, efficient service, and a clean, organized deli workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare sandwiches and deli menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Slice meats and cheeses and portion ingredients for deli production.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to guests at the deli counter.
  • Assist customers with menu questions and take deli counter orders.
  • Maintain organization of deli ingredients, prep areas, and refrigeration units.
  • Ensure proper labeling, rotation, and storage of food products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the deli station, counters, and equipment.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
