Ready to take the lead on game-changing cloud and infrastructure projects? As our Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer , you’ll join a dynamic CPA firm where your work truly matters. You’ll have a lot of flexibility and ownership to solve complex technical puzzles and drive modernization across both on-premises and Azure cloud systems. That means managing mission-critical networks, servers, and security in a cloud-first (Azure) infrastructure and maintaining resilient disaster recovery capabilities. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and vendors to research and implement new technologies , provide Tier 3 support, and drive big projects (from rolling out advanced firewalls to virtualization initiatives). This in-office position follows a 8:00am–5:00pm PST schedule with flexibility for planned maintenance and participation in an on-call rotation. This allows you to deeply engage with the team while keeping our systems running smoothly.Essential job functions include but are not limited to :Manage existing hybrid cloud environment infrastructure, network, and systems by monitoring to ensure they remain optimized and operational. When necessary, take systems down during off hours to make adjustments or repairs.Research and implement new systems and services, replace or upgrade servers to support the information technology needs of Clark Nuber .Work with vendors on specifications for new systems and services, participate in purchase process and serve as project manager for installation and implementation.Install, configure, and build physical/virtual servers for implementation.Document work on systems to ensure accurate records .Provide Tier 3 technical support for end users on systems and applications.Assist with security alert investigation and follow-up.Participate in budgeting for new equipment, equipment purchases and specifications, rollout planning and make decisions regarding management of equipment within scope of position.Back up other staff within the information technology department.Establish annual goals in line with the overall team and firm, including DEI and Sustainability.Meet regularly with the Director of IT.Responsible for quarterly maintenance of operations documentation that supports job functions performed.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of IT and CIO to support the needs of the organization.Education : Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a combination of education and directly related work experience . CompTIA Server+ and Network+ certificates required or equivalent. Security+ certificate desired.Experience: 4+ years of progressively more responsible systems, network infrastructure and IT project management experience.
