ResponsibilitiesPrepare specimens and perform testing procedures on pathology specimens that result in the creation of microscopic slide preparations for diagnostic and/or prognostic analysis by the pathologist.
Apply technical theory to provide overall operational support necessary to maintain and optimize testing activities. Accommodate scheduling adjustments, off shifts, holidays, on-call, and weekend work assignments. Assist with traning of students and employees.

QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Histotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related and HTL Certification through the ASCP Board of Registry is required along with either completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician or Histotechnologist program OR 1 year of clinical experience in a histopathology laboratory.
