Dermatology Territory Manager

Location: Quebec City, Montreal South Shore

Job Description

The Biologics Sales Representative (Territory Manager) will effectively promote Galderma's prescription dermatology biologic, requiring advanced scientific, operational, business and interpersonal skills. The Biologics Sales Representative is responsible for achieving/exceeding Galderma portfolio sales goals and meeting strategic objectives across high-valued customers within assigned customer segments (including but not limited to Dermatologists and Allergists).

The assigned territory spans Rive-Sud de Montreal, Estrie, Trois-Riviere, Quebec, Saguenay, Bas Saint-Laurent/Gaspesie.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, strategic marketing objectives to meet or exceed business objectives.

  • Accountable for acquiring and maintaining expertise in brand/segment strategy and tactics, providing expert product knowledge. Promote and generate demand for Rx products in a competitive market; including launching new product.

  • Planning and executing effective sales calls/activities on targeted HCPs (dermatologists and allergists)

  • Advanced Selling Competencies: Advanced selling skills to engage in discussions on complex immunological mechanisms and addressing queries. Resilience and adaptability to handle potential challenges and rejections, as biologics may face more barriers

  • Organizing and carrying out Continuing Health Education programs for physicians

  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal/external key stakeholders; proactively utilize business analytics and customer insights to anticipate customer needs and support solution development.

  • Leveraging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to educate HCPs in the territory

  • Execute customer engagement initiatives to strengthen strategic partnerships with customers

  • Accurately analyzing data on a monthly basis and developing strategic business plans to enhance long-term sales performance.

  • Producing reports and analyses to evaluate territory performance and identify opportunities

  • Representing Galderma by attending trade shows, conventions and other meetings

  • Delivering a variety ofadministrative tasks timely and accurately.

  • Demonstrating ethics and integrity while modeling behaviors consistent with company standards and policies for business and compliance related matters

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven specialty sales success in quota driven role, with preference given to experience in dermatology, specialty/medical device sales, and biologics.

  • Demonstrated strong track record of consistent documented success (such as sales performance, leadership, and/or increased responsibilities)

  • Advanced Clinical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the complex immunological pathways targeted by Bx. Ability to discuss the underlying disease mechanisms and how Bx modify them.

  • Evidence-Based Medicine: Proficiency in interpreting clinical trial data, including endpoints specific to Bx and presenting compelling evidence on the safety and efficacy of Nemolizumab to HCPs

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution

  • Must be proficient with MS Office in a Windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software (Veeva CRM, Power BI)

  • High sense of urgency in particular with regards to customer service orientation and follow up

  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand market opportunities.

  • Knowledge of the business and market in the assigned territory is preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a highly driven culture that is performance based, fast paced, and results oriented
