Senior Software QA Engineer – Relocation Opportunity (USA)

At Definity, a leading technology company focused on AI-driven solutions and digital transformation, we are continuously expanding our team to support innovative, high-impact projects. We are looking for a Sr SoftwareQA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing, who is passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a leading automotive company headquartered in Fremont, California.

  • Must have Mexican nationality
  • Valid Mexican passport required

What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience as a SDET,QA Engineer(Manual & Automation) or similar.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Python, Go,Typescript.
  • Experience withweb,mobileand API'svalidation
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks in one of Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Zephyr or similar
  • Proficiency in writing and executing SQL database queries for test validation
  • Knowledge of log analysis using tools like Splunk for troubleshooting and monitoring
  • Experience with API testing using Postman, or similar tools
  • Degreein Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced English (required) – ability to communicate effectively in meetings and with international teams.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop and execute advanced test suites.
  • Implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms and languages to help improve overall quality and test code coverage.
  • Responsible for functional testing and automated testing.
  • Write backend integration tests and tests for RESTful APIs.
  • Develop frameworks and automated test cases using Selenium and Python.
  • Design and develop integration, regression, and stress tests using industry standard tools.
  • Use and integrate AI tools to improve your work.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Program Managers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Define, implement, and maintain test plans, test specifications and test suites.
  • Provide technical leadership, driving and performing engineering best practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs.
