Location: Huntsville, AL (HSV Site)

Reports To: Business Development & Sales Director (Israel)

About HighSecLabs – Secure Communications Division

At HighSecLabs, we design and deliver mission-grade secure communication solutions for the world’s most demanding environments. Our Secure Communications Division supports governments, defense organizations, and critical infrastructure operators with resilient hardware and software that protects sensitive data in fixed, mobile, and tactical operations.

From hardware-rooted cryptographic security to secure mobility solutions, our technologies bridge the gap between complex security standards and real-world mission requirements. The result: integrated communication infrastructures built for reliability, resilience, and national security missions.

Position Overview

We are looking for a driven, creative, and highly proactive Marketing & Business Development Specialist to lead our brand growth and market presence in Huntsville and the broader U.S. defense ecosystem.

This role blends strategic marketing, hands-on technical demonstrations, and opportunity development. You will act as our “boots on the ground” in Huntsville, owning the full marketing cycle—from identifying new opportunities to building relationships and executing campaigns that position HighSecLabs as a trusted partner for secure communications within the U.S. National Security sector.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in independent roles, enjoys storytelling around advanced technology, and wants to directly influence business growth in the defense industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

  • Identify New Opportunities: Monitor federal procurement platforms (e.g., SAM.gov), industry announcements, and defense events to uncover new opportunities.

  • Build & Manage the Pipeline: Own the opportunity lifecycle—from initial discovery and intelligence gathering through qualification and pursuit.

  • Strategic Outreach: Engage government stakeholders, system integrators, and industry partners to understand mission requirements and influence upcoming opportunities.

  • Technical Demonstrations: Operate and present secure communication hardware during hands-on demonstrations for military and government customers.

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Campaign Execution: Implement targeted marketing campaigns to increase awareness across the U.S. defense electronics and secure communications market.

  • Content Creation: Produce engaging, technically accurate content including:

    • Case studies

    • Presentations

    • White papers

    • LinkedIn and social media posts

  • Event Leadership: Coordinate regional trade shows, defense exhibitions, and industry conferences, ensuring strong branding and impactful presence.

  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, technology trends, and government procurement developments to inform strategy.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing or Business Development within Defense, Military, or Government sectors

  • Demonstrated experience with:

    • Federal procurement and acquisition cycles

    • Lead generation and pipeline development

    • Marketing planning and content creation

Preferred Background

  • Military service or defense operational experience (strong advantage)

  • Experience engaging directly with end users, program offices, or defense integrators

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Familiarity with marketing tools and digital platforms

  • Ability to quickly learn and operate technical hardware for demonstrations

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Strategic and analytical thinking

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Comfortable collaborating across U.S. and international teams (including Israel)

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a hands-on builder and storyteller—someone who can translate complex technology into compelling narratives while also driving tangible business results.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Entrepreneurial and proactive

  • Data-driven and results-oriented

  • Comfortable navigating the long cycles and complexities of government contracting

  • Excited about helping grow a high-impact cybersecurity and communications brand within the U.S. defense market
