JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineer
JOB LOCATION: Pittsfield, MA - Flex Schedule
WAGE RANGE*: 49-50.81
JOB NUMBER: 26-01059
JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer to work a flex schedule from their Pittsfield, MA facility. As a mechanical engineer for the Surface Ships Program, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Designing, Testing, Implementing, Building, and Installing equipment on Surface Ships.

  • Environmental Testing, Modeling & Analysis, and/or Drawing development

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
