Design Intern

Location: 4200 Col Glenn Hwy, Beavercreek, OH, 45431  

Base Pay: $16.50/hour

Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related degree program

Description:  IS4S is offering a design internship role for candidates with strong interest and growth potential in visual communications, multi-media design, and marketing support. This position will aid the marketing team with essential tasks and provide on-the-job learning for the intern. The Design Intern will work with the team from the IS4S office in Dayton, OH for both local and corporate initiatives. The ideal applicant is someone who enjoys all the aspects of multi-disciplinary design and exhibits both a self-motivated work ethic and strong team collaboration. Additionally, the ideal applicant is teachable, passionate about design, and a problem solver.  


Expected work schedule: 3 days a week / 20-24 hours a week  

Job Role(s):  

  • Participate in logo and brand ideation & development (logo, typography, color, images, etc.)  

    Aid in the design of custom collateral, business cards, presentation templates, and all forms of print media  

    Support social media marketing with visual content creation  

    Edit and manipulate photo/video media  

    Participate in and take notes for Design meetings and presentations  

    Present an end of term Design Intern Recap  


Required Skills:  Must be proficient in the following Adobe Creative Cloud apps:

    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills
