Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Tyonek is seeking individuals to instruct Military and Government Civilian students in Defensive Cyber Operations skills. Cyber Instructors must pass the course they are hired to instruct in; courses range from 2 weeks to 9 weeks in length. Cyber Instructors must pass a 2-week Instructor Methodology Course (how to be an instructor). Cyber Instructors must pass Instructor evaluations to become qualified as an instructor and maintain qualification.DUTIESInstruct lessons in course assigned. Most lessons are team-taught with 1 primary and 2 - 3 supporting instructors to facilitate students during labs.In-depth knowledge (subject matter expertise) of lessons is required to maintain instructor qualification.Develop new and/or update existing lessons as assigned.Work may be split into two shifts, S and T. Duty hours for "S" shift are 0700-1600 and for "T" shift, 1500-0001. Shift preference will be taken into consideration where possible.Other Duties as assigned.EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A minimum of an Associate's degree in a related area is required.A minimum of 3 years' experience in the field of Cyber Warfare/ Defensive Cyber Operations is desired.IAT/M Level II certification is requiredAF Cyber Weapon System experience and/or Cyber Protection Team Experience is preferred Top Secret Clearance/SCI required.The following certifications are desired: GNFA, GCIH, GSEC, CISSP, CASP, Sec+.We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
