You must be able to obtain clearance to access the airbase for work. Leo Tech has a Drug test and background check requirement, and the Government also performs a background check. Perform preventive maintenance.Diagnose component failure.Determine the overall mechanical condition of vehicles and equipment.Replace parts that are worn and damaged.Test for leaks and blockage using test and flow testers.Requirements: MUST have the following:Skill in using and interpreting results of a wide range of diagnostic and test equipment, i.e., engine analyzers, dynamometers, exhaust analyzers, vacuum and fuel pump testers, injector testers, ignition tuners, tachometers, ammeters, and ohmmeters.Ability to use technical manuals, illustrations, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and similar guides to make repairs and modifications.Familiarity with diagnostic equipment is preferable. A civilian driver's license is required.Must be physically able to operate the unit's small forklifts and become certified.Working knowledge of the following computer software: Microsoft Office Suite, Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) program.Ability to manually lift equipment and components weighing 20 to 60 pounds.
