Job Description
Agile Defense is seeking a Digital/AI Integration Coach to empower the implementation and adoption of AI-driven solutions across the Department of War (DoW) ecosystem. This hybrid role combines technical expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
 
You will act as a trusted advisor and educator, guiding mission stakeholders in the effective application of AI technologies to solve operational challenges. As a subject matter expert (SME), you will teach and coach users on AI-P, Palantir Foundry, and related tools, ensuring stakeholders not only understand the technical foundations but also how to apply these tools to meet business and mission needs.
 
This role requires translating complex AI concepts into actionable strategies for diverse audiences, from analysts to senior leaders. You will help stakeholders define data definitions, business logic, and governance policies while advising on the integration of MAVEN Smart Systems (MSS) for operational and predictive analytics.
 
The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, experienced in applying AI to real-world business use cases, and excels in collaborative environments. If you are an AI professional who thrives on empowering others through education and hands-on coaching, we encourage you to apply. 
Education and Years of Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, or AI engineering, with at least 2+ years focused on Generative AI and LLMs. 
Required Skills
  • Active DoD Secret clearance, TS/SCI preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. 
  • 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, or AI engineering, with at least 2+ years focused on Generative AI and LLMs.  
  • Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks, vector databases, and prompt engineering. 
  • Strong interpersonal and teaching skills, with a passion for explaining complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences. 
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or MAVEN Smart Systems.
  • NORTHCOM CCMD experience. 
  • Open-source contributions or published research in AI. 
  • Certifications in AI Ethics, Responsible AI, or Cloud AI Architecture. 
  • Familiarity with adversarial AI testing and red-teaming practices. 
$130,000 - $170,000 a year
