Role Overview

We are seeking a seniorTest Managerto support testing strategy, governance, and execution for a largescalepension administration system implementation. This role requires a strong blend oftest leadership, stakeholder management, regulatory awareness, and technical oversight,operatingwithin a complex, highly regulated environment.

The Test Manager willbe responsible forsupporting endtoend testing approaches, working with a multidisciplinary testing team, coordinating vendors and client stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of a highquality, compliant solution.

This role also requires the individual to execute quality assurance tasks as the Test Manager role will not fully utilize their time. The execution will make them more capable in the Test Manager role and performing as a conduit between the teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Test Planning & Management

  • Support and advocate forthe overalltest strategy and master test planaligned with the program roadmap
  • Support best practice testing standards, methodologies, and entry/exit criteria across all test phases
  • Identifytesting risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies

Test Execution & Governance

  • Work with a team oftest analysts, automation specialists, and domain experts
  • Be cognizant of testing activities across multiple project workstreams and vendor teams
  • Participate in test case management, defect tracking, triage, and resolution processes
  • Chair UAT defect review meetings with the client and provide regular test status and quality reporting
  • Monitor UAT progress and quality metrics, adjusting approach asrequired

PensionSpecific Testing Requirements

  • Understand what is required to performaccuratetesting ofpension calculations, eligibility rules, service credits, and benefit payments
  • Participate in testing member services, employer interfaces, payroll processing, and financial reconciliation functions

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate and supportUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)with client business teams
  • Facilitate testing workshops and requirements clarification sessions
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project governance bodies
  • Manage vendor testing activities and deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience insoftware testing, with 5+ years intest leadership or test management roles
  • Proven experience leading testing forlargescale system implementations
  • Handson experience withdata migration testingin complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile and Waterfall)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withpension administration systemsor similar financial / benefits platforms
  • ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of actuarial concepts, financial calculations, or regulatory testing
  • Experience working in public sector or highly regulated environments
