Job Description:Seeking an experienced Test Lead to lead enterprise ETL/Data Warehouse testing initiatives supporting SAS to Snowflake migration and Talend pipeline modernization within a banking environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, ETL/Data Warehouse testing, data validation, reconciliation, test automation, and Test Development Lifecycle (TDLC) methodologies. This role requires end-to-end ownership of testing strategies, UAT coordination, defect management, data integrity validation, and collaboration with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful migration, release quality, and production stability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end ETL and Data Warehouse testing strategy for SAS to Snowflake migration initiatives
  • Design and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems (SAS/ETL) and Snowflake target systems
  • Validate complex data transformations, joins, aggregations, mappings, and business rules across ETL pipelines
  • Ensure data integrity, completeness, consistency, and accuracy across the data lifecycle
  • Develop and implement automated testing frameworks for ETL and data validation activities
  • Execute and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles while collaborating with business stakeholders for sign-off
  • Track, manage, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, discrepancies, and data quality issues through root cause analysis
  • Ensure adherence to TDLC deliverables, testing documentation, reporting standards, and release governance
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, QA teams, and UAT teams to support smooth releases and production stability


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support migration validation activities during SAS to Snowflake transformation projects
  • Ensure testing standards, documentation quality, and enterprise testing best practices are maintained
  • Coordinate with technical and business teams to resolve testing issues and release blockers
  • Participate in release planning, deployment readiness, and post-validation support activities
  • Support enterprise testing automation and quality improvement initiatives


Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in SQL (Advanced), Snowflake, and ETL/Data Warehouse testing
  • Strong experience in data validation, reconciliation, and data integrity verification
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and automated ETL testing approaches
  • Strong knowledge of Test Development Lifecycle (TDLC) deliverables and testing methodologies
  • Experience designing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and execution strategies
  • Experience supporting SAS to Snowflake migration testing and Talend pipelines preferred
  • Strong defect management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience managing UAT cycles and collaborating with business stakeholders
  • Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and collaboration skills


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 810+ years of strong hands-on testing experience required
  • Experience leading ETL/Data Warehouse testing initiatives required
