Field Installer

Are you a road warrior? Anova is seeking aField Installer to join our team to assist in the installation process of telemetry devices on various tanks. TheField Installer will be a key player in the on-site customer relationship and quality assurance of installations performed for those customers. The position is full-time with approximately 90-100% travel with travel each week. Based on the scope of installation project and customer support travel will include overnight and weekend stay for projects. Travel expenses will be covered by the company.
Target Total Compensation

Compensation for this role is split between base hourly rate, plus a per install incentive. projected yearly total compensation is estimated to be between $75,000-90,000. Position also includes comprehensive benefits package, including, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match, PTO and more.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer locations to install monitors
  • Travel is project based and will be multiple week assignments including overnight stay and some weekends
• Safely perform device installations on residential and commercial tanks (contents can consist of propane, fuels, lubricants, DEF, cooking oil, etc.)
• Utilize basic tools: screwdriver, tape measure, pipe wrench, drill, ladder amongst other tools plus a smartphone to utilize Anova's suite of mobile applications as part of the installation process
• Escalate any customer concerns to the Installation Coordinator or Installation Program Manager
• Participate in meetings with customers, sales and installations as a representative of the installation department
• Review and report on daily/weekly progress
• Primary job duties would involve travel on a Weekly Basis 90-100% of the time including some weekends. Typical work would be regional, with travel by vehicle and air travel for larger install projects
  
• Travel to customer locations to troubleshoot installation issues
  
• OSHA 10 course and OSHA fall training will be provided

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements -

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• 1 year of experience working in hands on/technical function or successful completion of a career technical high-school program
• Valid standard driver license with a clean driving record
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to meet rental car booking requirements
• Safe, confident, articulate, and effective communicator with a hands-on, rollup the sleeves attitude to juggle multiple projects and workstreams
• Able to operate a mobile phone to activate and set up cellular monitors for fuel and lubricant tanks
• Proficient with simple hand tools (screwdrivers, tape measure, etc.)
• Able to manage time effectively and efficiently, to travel through an assigned route with many stops
• Personable with the public, as the role will include end-customer interaction
• Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Office - Excel Basics are a must, Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, IF, CONCATENATE, etc.) are a plus!

Physical Requirements -

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment.
• Must be able to crouch, stoop, and kneel periodically.
• Must be able to work outside including in inclement weather
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
