Superior Completion Services is excited to be seeking a Technical Advisor II - Tools for our Completion Office in Houston, TX.

As a Technical Advisor II - Tools, you'll dive deep into the world of advanced product lines, including Single Trip Systems and their cutting-edge applications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the preparation of Sand Control & Completion tool Spaceouts/Design, Completion/Operational Procedures, proposals, Quotes, and all pertinent engineering calculations based on the available job criteria, knowledge, and past performance.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the above for Tenders, Bids, RFI’s, and RFQs.
  • Responsible for providing technical support to Clients, Sales, and Operational groups in all pertinent areas as noted.
  • Directly interface with Account managers and Clients to determine Client needs and determine the appropriate course of action to prepare recommendations based on the available job criteria, knowledge, and past performance of wells.
  • Lead and assist in customer/internal demonstrations, presentations, and databasing, and track lessons with client follow-ups and reviews.
  • Project and process planning with District Engineers, Supervisors, and Sales Reps during job planning and proposal development.

 Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge and demonstrated skills in the use of Sand Control Completion Tools, competency and experience in Job design, and application of completion tools.
  • Knowledge relating to Completion services procedures, Quality requirements, SOPs, and processes.
    • Current practices, equipment, supplies, and materials used in the completion tools business.
  • Competent with experience in completion tools applications and operations.
  • Proficiency in down-hole principles and well Hydraulics, including detailed calculations.
  • Sand Control Tool Spaceouts, Procedures, Reports, and Business Correspondences. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a degree with appropriate experience inclusive of Operations and the Field.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required. Preferred Degrees as listed, but not limited to the following: Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, and Technology degrees. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, in Engineering preferred. Other degrees are considered with relevant experience or in lieu of the same, extensive Specialized experience in the Field relevant to the position.
  •  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering requires a Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the core product line (Tools).
  • Deepwater experience is a definite plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Working knowledge and demonstrated skills in the use, function, and application of the following to know when to recommend the same:
    • Single Trip Systems, Hydraulic Valves, and Dual Completions.
    • A suite of Stimulation tools.
  • Knowledge relating to Completion services procedures, Quality requirements, SOPs, and processes.
    • Current practices, equipment, supplies, and materials used in the completion tools business.
  • Competent with experience in completion tools applications and operations.
  • Advanced-level knowledge, competency, and experience in Job design and application of completion tools.
  • Advanced-level knowledge of multiple completion aspects that encompass completion processes
  • Advanced level proficiency in designing completion tool spacious, configuration of equipment, and their application, and pertinent procedures.
  • Higher level proficiency in down-hole principles and well Hydraulics, including detailed calculations.
  • Higher level of proficiency and capability in the use of TMap, TADPro, Excel, and Production flow dynamics.
  • Sand Control Tool Spaceouts, Procedures, reports, and business correspondence.
  • Competent at making Technical Presentations to clients and internal customers.
  • Basic proficiency or ability to train and use enterprise accounting and sales software such as D365.
