How much do deep scribe jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 16, 2026, the average hourly pay for deep scribe in Georgia is $16.42, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $12.79 and $20.29 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are some common challenges Deep Scribes face in their daily work?

Deep Scribes often work in fast-paced clinical environments, where they must accurately capture complex medical information in real-time while keeping up with quick patient appointments. They may encounter challenges related to medical jargon, unfamiliar cases, or adjusting to different providers' documentation styles. Staying focused, managing high volumes of patient charts, and protecting patient privacy are all important aspects of the job. Most Deep Scribes receive thorough training and ongoing support, but adapting quickly and being open to continual learning are keys to overcoming these challenges.

Is AI replacing Scribes?

AI technology is increasingly used to assist medical scribes by automating documentation tasks, but it has not fully replaced human scribes. Many healthcare providers still rely on human scribes for accuracy, contextual understanding, and real-time interaction, making AI a complementary tool rather than a complete substitute.

Who gets paid more, MA or Scribe?

A Medical Assistant (MA) typically earns higher wages than a Scribe. MAs often have formal training and certification, which can lead to higher pay, while Scribes usually require less training and focus on documentation tasks. Salary differences depend on experience, location, and employer.

Which 3 jobs will survive AI?

Deep Scribe, as a medical transcription role, is likely to persist because it requires specialized medical knowledge and human judgment that AI cannot fully replicate. Other jobs expected to survive AI include roles in healthcare such as nurses and doctors, which rely on complex decision-making and empathy, and skilled trades like electricians and plumbers that require hands-on expertise. These roles involve nuanced skills and human interaction that are difficult for AI to replace entirely.

What is a Deep Scribe job?

A Deep Scribe job involves using AI-powered tools to assist healthcare providers by documenting patient visits in real-time. Deep Scribes listen to medical conversations and generate accurate, structured clinical notes. This helps doctors focus on patient care rather than manual note-taking. The role requires strong attention to detail, medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What is a $900000 AI job?

A $900,000 AI job typically refers to high-paying roles in artificial intelligence, such as senior machine learning engineers, AI research directors, or data science executives. These positions often require advanced skills in programming, data analysis, and experience with AI tools and frameworks, and they may involve leadership responsibilities or specialized expertise. Compensation at this level reflects significant experience, impact, and industry demand.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Deep Scribe position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Deep Scribe, you need a strong grasp of medical terminology, attention to detail, and fast, accurate typing skills, often supported by some healthcare experience or relevant coursework. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and specialized medical scribing software, such as Epic or Cerner, is typically required. Exceptional listening skills, discretion, and the ability to work independently are valuable soft skills in this role. Mastering these abilities ensures accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters, helping healthcare providers deliver better care and maintain compliance.
