Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting Ambulatory, Wheelchair, as well a Gurney passengers while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, a helpful attitude, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The Driver will operate company vehicles and have company fuel cards.
Duties

  • Safely operate vehicles
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Assist passengers getting on and off the vehicle, providing support as needed.
  • In the event of heavy, team lifting procedures, Using proper lifting motions to avoid injury to yourself or others.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
  • Completing and reporting necessary information on company app related to trips.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a drug a test.
  • Experience as a van driver, delivery driver, or in shuttle driving preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
  • Previous experience in school bus driving or paratransit services is a plus.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
