Position Qualification
Position Summary
The Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologist for a full-time, on-site, 100% subspecialized position.
Position Highlights
  • 100% subspecialized breast imaging practice
  • Broad spectrum of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures using all modalities
• Opportunity to practice within the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Nebraska's only NCI-designated cancer center, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to breast cancer diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary environment with dedicated breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, genetic counselors, and advanced practice providers
  • Flexible, equitable, and transparent scheduling with academic time built into the schedule
  • Collegial team of experienced breast imagers, technologists, nurses, and support staff
  • Opportunities for teaching, research, leadership, and program development based on individual interests

Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology
  • Completion of a breast imaging fellowship, or equivalent breast imaging training and expertise
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Nebraska
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and collaborative practice
