Job description

Job Description
Dream Nannies is seeking a confident, and proactive Nanny Manager for a busy, active household with two young children (6 months and 3 yrs old) This role is ideal for a nanny who is energetic, patient, firm with boundaries, and able to balance high-quality childcare with household support. The ideal candidate is engaging, grounded, and able to read the room without needing to be micromanaged, while maintaining excellent communication with parents.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overnights or later evenings when a parent is traveling. School pickups occur in the afternoon, and afternoons may include park outings, walks, or structured activities before returning home. Candidates should be comfortable driving children, managing transitions, unloading bags, and maintaining a smooth after-school routine. Flexibility to assist during school breaks and openness to occasional travel with the family is a strong plus.
In addition to childcare, this role includes meaningful household support during children's downtime. Responsibilities include family laundry, organizing closets, pantry, and refrigerator, light surface cleaning, decluttering common areas, washing dishes, vacuuming dog hair, taking out trash and diapers, light meal prep, and running occasional errands. The home includes large dogs, so comfort with pets and maintaining a tidy environment is essential. When extended family is present, the role may shift toward more household management responsibilities.
This position offers $25-$30 per hour, guaranteed hours, paid time off, and sick leave. Dream Nannies is seeking a long-term professional who will become a trusted and valued part of the household.
