SERD is hiring aLightweight Insulated Concrete Pump Operatorto support ourRoof Deck division. This role operates a Deck Mate pump, leads the ground crew during pours, and plays a key role in delivering safe, high-quality roof deck systems. SERD (Southeastern Roof Decks), located at 165 Walter Way Fayetteville, GA, provides commercial Roofing, Roof Decking Systems, Engineered Fills, Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, and Acoustical Ceiling services. SERD is a certified drug-free workplace.


What Youll Do

  • Operate and monitor lightweight insulating concrete pumping equipment
  • Mix and place lightweight roof deck systems
  • Lead and communicate with ground and roof teams during pours
  • Set up, tear down, clean, and maintain pumps, bulkers, and related equipment
  • Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report larger concerns
  • Maintain clean, safe job-site conditions
  • Use two-way radios for daily coordination
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures


What Were Looking For

  • Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn equipment operation
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to lift 75+ lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Able to climb ladders and work at heights
  • Clear communicator and team-oriented
  • Willing to travelup to 75% overnight during the week
  • Available for overtime and occasional weekends
  • Clean driving record (no DUI or super speeder violations in last 5 years)
  • Normal vision and hearing
