Summary:

Pool Monitors are responsible for observing swimming pool areas to ensure user safety and compliance with posted rules. They help maintain a safe, family-friendly environment by enforcing guidelines and addressing any issues or concerns. Pool Monitors may provide access to a fully stocked first aid kit if needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides excellent guest service.
  • Verifies possession of valid association issued ID card.
  • Wristband persons and guests that have shown required proper issued ID card.
  • Performs safety check and provides first aid kit as needed
  • Keeps pool areas clean (Pick up and properly dispose of trash, clean leaves/ debris from splash pad skimmer baskets, skims leaves or surface debris from water as needed)
  • Monitors maintenance of pool area (Cleanliness of water and pool deck, restrooms, showers, furniture, etc.) and reports quality concerns to management office.
  • Ensures there is no running or rough-housing on the pools or on the decks (engage residents directly with courtesy and respect - do not yell from a distance or use bullhorn)
  • Enforces all posted rules and regulations as outlined in the pool and splash park guidelines.
  • Ensure the pool facility is locked up and secure in non use hours.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • CPR Certification is required for this position. 
  • Must be service oriented, enthusiastic, punctual, reliable and exceptional grooming standards
  • Display welcoming demeanor, friendly attitude, and team player
  • Ability to multi-task, accepts new responsibilities, be proactive, and take initiative and ownership of grievances, solving matters when appropriate.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable transportation, and ability to work a flexible schedule

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Availability:

 Monday - Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and/or 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
