Job description


Decision Support Analysts drive impactful financial analysis that helps enhance patient care and operational efficiency. In this role, your analytical expertise will be essential to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions and foster innovation within our organization. Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll be at the forefront of initiatives that impact financial performance while supporting our mission to provide exceptional, quality healthcare to our community and the region. An ideal candidate will be eager to learn new practices, systems, and methods while making a meaningful contribution to the healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with finance and operational leadership to identify key challenges and opportunities, working together to achieve strategic objectives and elevate performance
  • Use creative thinking to tackle complex issues, turning obstacles into opportunities in a fast-paced setting
  • Analyze our business operations against industry best practices and internal goals, providing valuable insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist in identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives across various divisions, contributing to our bottom line while supporting our teams
  • Prepare and review detailed profitability analyses for our service lines, offering actionable recommendations that drive improvements and boost financial performance
  • Play a key role in enhancing our decision support systems by advocating for and driving the implementation of strategic solutions
  • Help develop and maintain methodologies for costing, corporate allocations, patient level analysis, and productivity assessments
  • Other duties as assigned

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, finance, or related field - Required

Work Experience
  • 3 Years - finance or accounting experience - Required
  • healthcare finance or accounting experience - Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
  • Upon Hire

Travel Requirements
  • Travel to off-site locations may be required. - Required
