Position Description: deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer.
We are seeking an experienced CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to join the Agile Portfolio Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. The role requires proficiency in various automation and orchestration tools, specifically Kubernetes and Argo CD. The candidate should possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to ensure robust and scalable CI/CD solutions are delivered.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment processes.
  • Work with Kubernetes to manage containerized applications and ensure efficient orchestration and scaling.
  • Utilize Argo CD for continuous delivery operations, ensuring deployments are automated and efficient.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and ensure streamlined deployment processes.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

Maintain documentation and provide training and support to development teams on CI/CD best practices and tools.
Target salary range: $120,000 - $160,000. This target salary represents an estimated range for this position based on experience, degree and other factors.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
  • At least 7-10 years of industry experience in devsecops or cloud architecting, with a focus on CI/CD processes.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes, including setting up, managing, and scaling clusters.
  • Proficiency with Argo CD or similar CD tools like Spinnaker or Flux.
  • Solid experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Special Skills Desired:
  • Excellent scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar languages).
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
