The Sustainability Data Analytics Specialist II is responsible for supporting and enhancing AIT's global sustainability program. The role will focus on analyzing and reporting carbon emission, identifying opportunities for emission reduction, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards.


  • Carbon Emission Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report out data on carbon emissions across transportation and other logistics activities. Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards such as the GHG Protocol and the GLEC Framework. Develop and utilize databases and software tools to streamline data collection and reporting processes. Coordinate with operational groups to ensure data accuracy.
  • Decarbonization Initiatives: Support design and implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing our AIT's environmental footprint. This includes projects related to renewable fuels, renewable energy, energy efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate internally and externally to promote sustainability practices and drive engagement in sustainability initiatives.
  • Reporting and Communications: Assist with annual sustainability surveys and annual sustainability report.
  • Research and analysis: Conduct research on emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements. Provide insights and recommendations. Provide updates on applicable policies by geographies.
  • The wage range for this position is $65,180.00-$97,760.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Data Science, Engineering, Sustainability or other related field Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 2+ years Business related sustainability or ESG education or experience Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, Zoom (or similar) (Medium proficiency)
  • Experience with ESG/sustainability in corporate setting (Medium proficiency)
  • Experience preferred with carbon emission reporting software or frameworks (GLEC framework, GHG protocol, EcoTransIT, Lune or similar) (Medium proficiency)
  • Experience preferred with data analytics or data visualization software (Excel, SQL, PowerBI) (Medium proficiency)
  • Must be detail oriented as well as proactive and self-motivated
  • Passion for sustainability and decarbonization
