Your Key Responsibilities

As a Director, you will help strengthen EY-Parthenon's market presence through a range of strategic responsibilities.

Market & Business Development
  • Market origination: Drive business origination and market development across decarbonization, energy transition, climate-tech, and sustainability-led transformation themes.
  • Commercial offerings: Build, refine, and position commercial offerings, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for priority sectors and technologies.
Offer & Solution Development
  • Sustainability offering development: Strengthen EY-Parthenon's Sustainability and Decarbonization offerings by contributing deep expertise in priority areas.
  • Thought leadership: Develop perspectives, frameworks, market insights, and thought leadership to support client conversations and market positioning.
Targeted Engagement Support
  • Senior advisory support: Provide senior-level guidance on high-impact transformation programs requiring advanced sustainability or climate-tech expertise.
  • Solution shaping: Help define engagement direction, challenge assumptions, and bring technical depth to complex, multi-workstream client projects.
Skills and Attributes for Success

We are looking for senior professionals who combine consulting-level leadership with real-world sustainability transformation experience across multiple clients.

You bring:

  • Transition program leadership: Experience steering large, multi-workstream transition, energy transformation, or decarbonization programs for corporates, investors, or public sector entities.
  • Consulting or advisory background: Experience in top-tier strategy consulting at Project Leader or Principal level, or a senior functional role with significant multi-client advisory exposure.
  • C-suite engagement: Ability to engage credibly with senior executives and create commercial momentum in emerging sustainability areas.
  • Complex topic synthesis: Strong ability to simplify complex technical topics and guide cross-functional teams across technology, operations, finance, and strategy.
  • Advanced subject expertise: Expertise in at least one advanced sustainability or climate-tech topic, such as:
    • Adaptation and resilience: Climate adaptation and infrastructure resilience.
    • Industrial decarbonization: Electrification, energy efficiency, low-carbon operating models, and value chain transformation.
    • AI for decarbonization: AI use cases in energy, emissions reduction, and sustainability transformation.
    • Climate-tech scaling: Deep-tech or climate-tech growth areas such as advanced materials, energy storage, and industrial process optimization.
