What does a decarbonization engineer do?

A Decarbonization Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing strategies to reduce carbon emissions in industrial processes, buildings, or energy systems. They assess current operations, identify opportunities for emission reductions, and develop technologies or processes that support the transition to cleaner energy sources. Their work often involves collaborating with other engineers, environmental experts, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
