Job description

As a Plastipak Maintenance Technician you have job stability. In this role, you'll maintain production lines that manufacture rigid plastic packaging for household brands and products that you use everyday.

Shift

  • Nights: 6:45 pm - 7:15 am on a standard 3-2-2-3 schedule

What You Will Do

  • Troubleshoot & repair machine & manufacturing equipment for your assigned production lines

  • Perform preventative maintenance

  • Rebuild spare parts

  • Participate in changeovers

  • Diagnose electrical issues and investigate root cause

  • Complete trainings & earn certifications

What You Need

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required

  • 3 or more years of experience maintaining manufacturing machines & equipment

  • Solid hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical working knowledge

  • Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving ability

  • Ability to read & interpret technical & operational documents (manuals, blueprints, schematics)

  • Your own tried & true tools (wrenches, screw drivers, sockets, ratchet sets, etc.).

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without a reasonable accommodation
