Automotive Service Porter / Valet – McGrath Family of Dealerships

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Schedule: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

McGrath Family of Dealerships is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Automotive Service Porter / Valet to support our busy service department. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, vehicle transportation, lot support, and day-to-day service department assistance.

This role is a great fit for someone with experience as a porter, valet, lot attendant, shuttle driver, delivery driver, dealership assistant, or customer service professional who enjoys staying active and working with both customers and vehicles.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable work history
• Friendly and professional customer service skills
• Comfortable driving and parking a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership and service environment
• Previous porter, valet, lot attendant, shuttle driver, delivery driver, or automotive dealership experience preferred, but not required

What You’ll Do

• Greet service customers and provide a friendly, professional first impression
• Safely move, park, stage, and retrieve customer vehicles throughout the dealership
• Shuttle customers to and from the dealership as needed
• Pick up and deliver customer vehicles for service appointments
• Assist Service Advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and service lane organization
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and professional service drive and vehicle staging area
• Support the service department with additional porter, valet, and lot duties as needed
