Position Summary

Joseph Automotive is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our service operations and maintain the high standards our customers have come to expect. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for customer service, operational excellence, employee development, and achieving departmental goals.

As Service Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the service department, including staff leadership, customer satisfaction, technician productivity, financial performance, warranty administration, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the service department to ensure exceptional customer experiences and efficient workflow.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Drive department profitability through effective labor sales, parts utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including customer satisfaction, technician productivity, labor gross profit, and repair order performance.
  • Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure service appointments, workflow scheduling, and repair order processes are executed effectively.
  • Oversee warranty administration and ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Sales, and Fixed Operations teams to maximize dealership performance.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Analyze service department reports and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
