Experienced Used Vehicle Buyer - Northern California Market Area
A large, well-established dealer group is seeking an accomplished Used Vehicle Buyer to strengthen its pre-owned inventory operations throughout the Northern California market.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of proven automotive buying experience, extensive knowledge of regional market conditions, and the ability to consistently acquire desirable market-ready inventory at competitive values.
Expected Annual Compensation Range $75,000-$125,000
Compensation includes base pay plus performance-based commissions and incentives. Final compensation will be based on experience, performance, and the dealer group's established pay plan. A comprehensive benefits package is also available.
Key Qualifications:
• 3-5+ years of successful used vehicle buying or acquisition experience
• Extensive knowledge of the Northern California used vehicle automotive market
• Strong relationships with auctions, wholesalers, dealerships, and other acquisition sources
• Experience using market-data, appraisal, pricing, and inventory-management platforms and social media platforms
• Excellent negotiation, appraisal, and purchasing skills
• Ability to determine the right inventory mix based on demand, turn rate, and profitability
• Proven record of meeting acquisition goals while maintaining disciplined purchasing standards
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
